How to: Edit an embedded Excel chart.
Solution:
Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Chart Object'.
1) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Chart Object'. (Another pull down menu appears.)
2) Select 'Edit'.

3) Edit the embedded Excel chart.
4) Single click on the slide outside of the Excel chart.
